Quality Control

The Quality Control Technician will be responsible for executing and documenting all aspects of in-plant process and laboratory quality procedures, programs and functions in a food manufacturing environment.

1. Act as frontline of defense for Delta Peanut Quality by ensuring that all incoming products align with customer needs and expectations
2. Become familiar with and be able to apply Delta Peanut Inspection Procedures
3. Perform inspection on incoming product in accordance with defined Delta Peanut Inspection Procedures
4. Utilize testing equipment to gather data to complete inspections
5. Complete reports, spreadsheets, and documents related to inspection to capture data and results
6. Identify and suggest areas for product & process improvements using insight gained during the inspection process
7. Ensure safe transfer of products to and from QC department for special auditing
8. Be effective at communicating observations and results
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area
